Step 01
Submit Nomination
Ensure your chosen charity is registered with CRA and serves the greater Victoria area. Nominations must be received no later than two weeks prior to the next meeting.
How Nominations Work
Members can nominate registered local charities for consideration at our quarterly meetings. Here is the process for submitting your choice.
Step 02
Charity Drawing
During our meetings, three charities are chosen at random. The nominating member must be present at the meeting and ready to give a 5-minute speech about their charity if it is drawn.
Step 03
Member Vote
Members vote by secret ballot and choose one charity to receive the group’s combined donation for immediate local impact.
Eligibility & Guidelines

Charities must have a strong local or regional focus within the Victoria area.

They must be a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

The charity must have the ability to issue official tax receipts to all members.

There is a limit of one nomination per charity, per meeting in fairness to the draw.

Charities must agree to only contact our members to issue tax receipts.

Past recipients can only be nominated again after a three-year waiting period.

If you are already a member of 100+ Women Who Care Victoria, you can submit your nominated charity here. Please make sure your charity is not already listed above, as we only accept one nomination per charity. Remember, only our members are allowed to nominate.
